Blending adventure and relaxation, the Flying A Ranch gives guests a feeling of satisfaction, while providing gourmet meals and service in a magnificent mountain setting.

At the Flying A Ranch near Pinedale, Wyoming, satisfaction is guaranteed; at least, that's what the guests say after a week-long stay at the ranch. Flying A guests leave with a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment, many returning year after year. Whether the ultimate goal is exciting adventure or soothing relaxation, guests leave happy.

Excellent Service and Courteous Staff

It doesn't take long to feel that sense of satisfaction, as guests are pampered by the dedicated staff, who offer genuine smiles. Serving gourmet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, providing turn-down service each night or just anticipating each guest's needs is just part of the service offered at the Flying A.

That sense of courtesy even extends to the barn, as helpful wranglers match each guest's riding abilities with a corresponding horse. Guests are offered their own horse to ride during their week-long stay, providing stability and trust between rider and horse.

Unique Horseback Riding Experience

Flying A Ranch guests receive unlimited riding opportunities with two organized rides per day. Rides take guests over a variety of terrain, with 28 trails available. Riding horseback gives guests a new perspective to sights not seen from the road or by hiking on foot. Riding by horseback through aspen groves or through fields of lupine is an experience to remember. Guests are able to view wildlife from the trails, getting a closer look.

As riding is one of the principal activities at the ranch, it's important that guests feel comfortable with their ability to handle a horse. The wranglers are knowledgeable and helpful, especially with novice riders. Their non-judgmental attitude towards beginners helps guests feel more confident about riding. Noticing even the smallest adjustments needed or offering a simple technique improvement, these wranglers know their stuff and are eager to assist when needed.

Nestled against the Bridger-Teton National Forest with spectacular views of the Wind River and Gros Ventre Mountains, the overwhelming beauty of the Flying A Ranch is treasured by all. Located in the least populated county of the least populated state in America, the remote ranch of 360 acres leaves busy lives behind. Wildlife viewing includes moose, elk, deer, pronghorn, bear, coyote, wolves, cranes and other birds.

Flying A rates include lodging, horseback riding, fly fishing lessons with equipment, guided hiking and all meals provided. Other activities include trap shooting, mountain biking, horseshoe throwing, jogging trails, float fishing trips or relaxing in the ranch hot tub or by the cabin fireplace.
